“V. H. Water Works”, this is a Small painting, 6″x 8″, oil on canvas panel.
I couldn’t resist painting the island’s other Water Works. I no sooner set up my easel on location than my cell rang with a request for a painting donation for the Preservation of the Water Works building. Thinking fast, I said I would do 2 paintings today and donate 1 and post the other. The presure was on, as someone was coming to pick up the, as yet, unpainted painting in 2 hours. They received a very nice wet painting to auction off and I was able to do this 2nd one …This painting has SOLD.
