The “Janie Lee”, in port during a blow, I was able to capture her likeness through the rain drops on my windshield. A shapely ship with deep flat black hull and great contrasting coloring on deck and over the sides. The grey of the day helped bring the few colors alive…

    I like the mood in this painting. In these levels days are now gray. Beautiful.
